The River  reporter, Stephanie Davis is searching for young student parents who challenge the normal conception of what it means to be a ‘student.’

Train fares

River Online and The River newspaper are working on getting a little campaign off the ground in support of cheaper train fares to London as proposed by Kingston and Surbiton MP Ed Davey.

Anyone (and that’s probably anyone commuting from London to get to work or Uni) who thinks these proposals will save them money should get in touch.

Anyone who cares one way or the other for money or other reasons should also get in touch with The River in the usual places or leave a comment on this post. Thanks guys.

Also check out some background material on the proposals, assembled by The River and presented on Storify.
